Chelsea Set To Rival Tottenham In Signing Everton's Anthony Gordon

According to reports, Chelsea will join forces with Tottenham Hotspur in signing Everton's attacker Anthony Gordon, 

The 21-year-old Anthony Gordon was subjected to multiple bids from the Blues[Chelsea] during the past summer transfer window when Thomas Tuchel was still in charge of the club.

Everton came up with a £60 million transfer fee for the youngster, but Chelsea were not prepared to exceed their £40 million valuation for Anthony Gordon. 

Tottenham had asked about Anthony Gordon earlier in the summer but scoffed after knowing the hefty price tag on the 21-year-old star.
